Blackened Shrimp Alfredo - Hardcore Carnivore Cajun Style

Not every shrimps on the barbie!

Simple yet satisfying!

This is a quick and easy at home comfort food that is sure to put smiles on the faces around your dinner table.

 

What you're going to need:

· 1 whole bag of cooked Shrimp (medium 30-45pcs)

· Classico Roasted Red Pepper Alfredo Sauce (1 15oz. jar)

· Pasta (RAO'S Fusilli)

· 1/2 Red Bell Pepper 

· Shredded Mozzarella 

· Shredded Parmesan

· 16 oz Heavy Whipping Cream

· Butter 2-3 Table Spoons 

· Hardcore Carnivore Cajun (to taste)

 

Directions:

· Bring a pot of water to a boil and add the pasta and cook until Al dente (drain and set aside)

· Peel, devein and wash your shrimp, or, grab the ones that are already ready already! LOL 

· Season your Shrimp with Hardcore Carnivore Cajun and set aside

· Get your frying pan nice and hot, we used a large Cast Iron frying pan for this

· Add a dab of oil and 1tbl spoon of butter and sweat the Red Bell Pepper then set aside 

· Place your seasoned shrimp in the cast iron or, you can also skewer them and toss them on the grill for the added wood fired flavor that we all know and love. then set aside 

 

 

· Add 2tbl spoons of butter to the pan before placing the shrimp in nice and flat 1-2 minuets per side then set the shrimp aside 

· Now time to assemble, add the Red Pepper Alfredo sauce and bring to a simmer slowly adding in the Heavy Whipping Cream and more Hardcore Carnivore Cajun (season to taste) once its all at a simmer add the RAO'S Fusilli, Red Bell Pepper and Shrimp and bout 1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella and 1/4 cup of parmesan. Once its all blended and mixed together remove from heat and top with Shredded mozzarella and parmesan to your liking.
